Before the monsoon: store, mix, and water
Monsoon heat and sun on a stack of bags kill the biology. Rain on open bags turns them into mud. A few habits protect the order you already paid for.
- Store bags under shade or a shed, off bare wet ground.
- Apply before a heavy wet spell when you can still work the soil.
- Mix into the top 5–10 cm; do not leave a dry crust on the surface.
- Water lightly after application if the soil is dry, then let the rains take over.
- Do not open more bags than you will use in a few days.
Orchards often fill the thaala before flowering or after harvest. Nurseries mix media before the rush of monsoon sowing. Ask for dispatch timing on WhatsApp so the load arrives when you can use it.
