Field crops: placing vermicompost next to fertilizer
Field crops need bulk organic matter as much as a spike of nitrogen. EcoKhaad goes in as a basal dressing, then fertilizer follows the crop plan. This is field practice, not a diary of a single trial plot.
Wheat and paddy
Broadcast 200–250 kg per acre before sowing wheat, or before transplanting paddy, and incorporate. Compost rebuilds organic matter in wheat–rice soils that have seen years of only chemical bags.
Potato and vegetables in rotation
Mix into ridges or beds before planting. Keep a gap if you must use a strong fungicide. Water after mixing so Trichoderma and the other additions stay active.
Ordering for acres
A few acres is a count of 50 kg bags. Larger blocks are quoted as tractor or truck loads from Derabassi. Use the bulk page and the enquiry form with the farm location.
